At the start of December I received some unpleasant news from Google. I had been spending so much time developing other people’s apps, Google decided my account was dormant, and I had to release an app on my own account or risk losing it.
So I decided to create a new App, to get me out of trouble with Google, and to give something to the community – Word Blizzard.

So what’s so amazing about Word Blizzard?
For starters its free.
It’s fun – stop the screen filling with letters, by dragging letters to form words.
It’s also the only realtime word based app I’ve seen which immediately shows you the meaning(s) of any word you discover. So while you are improving your spelling and having fun, you’re also expanding your vocabulary.
I hope you find it as much fun to play as it was to create.
Coming soon – the iOS version. I created this game on iOS a long time ago, but I the new version is much better than the original, and the old code would take way too long to update. So the next exercise is the interesting task of porting Android code to iOS.
